Privacy Policy
Universal Undo does not sell or upload your text history. Deleted-text recovery stays on-device. Limited analytics and install-attribution data may be sent to help us understand setup and successful restores, but not the text you type.
What the app needs to work
Universal Undo needs Android Accessibility access so it can notice text changes and help bring deleted drafts back. It does not use that permission for ad targeting or remote collection.
What stays local
- Recent text history used for undo and redo
- App names used to keep draft history separated by app
What limited analytics may be collected
The website uses privacy-focused analytics to understand which pages and guides lead to Play Store visits. The Android app may send limited product analytics and Play Install Referrer attribution to help us measure setup and recovery success.
- Website page visits and CTA clicks
- Play Store click context such as page and placement
- App funnel milestones such as first open, onboarding start, accessibility enablement, first successful restore, and review prompt actions
- Attribution values such as source, medium, campaign, landing page, and placement when provided through install referrer
What the app and site do not do
- No cloud backup or transmission of your text history
- No sale or sharing with third-party advertisers
- No processing of password and sensitive fields
Permissions
- Accessibility Service: needed for deleted-text recovery
- Overlay: optional floating undo controls
- Vibration: optional haptic feedback
- Internet: used only for analytics and attribution events, never for uploading your text history
